quick mdf question

jigsaw or table saw?
for a jigsaw, any "general wood cutting" blade will do fine. anything from 8 to 24 teeth/in (tpi) should do. look for a 12 or 16 if you can find it.
as for table saw or skilsaw blades, again, a general purpose ripping blade will do, but be sure to get one with carbide tips. otherwise you will get to sharpen the blade as soon as you're done with the MDF. MDF is very hard on blades, but the carbide one I have has has no problems. I cut MDF, plexiglass, plywood, just about anything I want and have no problems or bad cuts.
(then again, it's a $60 blade.

Well.... when I say it's *** slow, I mean it's *** slow.
My friend got sick of the jigsaw and pulled out a handsaw
and finished it off fast. I think the rate of the jigsaw was like 1 inch a minute or so. Pretty slow...
