Leaving windows open in the rain =\
What's the best to clean the inside of the car after the windows and sunroof have been left open during a rain storm? I have leather interior and it smells weird. Thanks.

Spray some fabreeze on the carpets.

The smell could be mold, I think the best thing to do would be to open all of your doors and park your car in direct sunlight for a while, maybe even spray some lysol in there, then Febreeze all the cloth surfaces and clean your leather.

I agree with ch13f on that. If leaving your doors open, disconnect the battery so you don't drain it with the courtesy/dome lights on (my trunk light ran mine down one night). You may also want to use a steam cleaner (they can be rented at Walmart, etc) to deep clean the fibers. Mold is nasty in that once it gets a foothold, the smell will linger. Call a detail shop or a carpet cleaning service to ask what professional products they use. They should know of some good ones that are more powerful than the consumer available ones.
