Interior carpet and upholstery cleaning?
Hi so i purchased a 98 Maxima CG2 it has the light colored interior.
I've had it for about a year now. I want to really give the seat and carpets a good cleaning.
The carpet and seats are not in the worst shape but i know they could be better.
What is a good chemical/cleaner/degreaser/deodorizer that i could purchase as a all in one.
Or maybe a combination of house hold cleaning solutions.
I rather not go through product after product testing, but i know sometime that is required.
Would need to be able to clean coffee, blood, oil, grease for example.
The tool on hand at the moment are a wet dry vac and some round drill attachment upholstery brushes.
The previous owner was a smoker, i am probably nose blind and would like to get the cigarette smell out.
Once the weather breaks i will be purchasing a steam cleaner.
Thank you.

Who owned the car before you? Dexter????
Well, Folex is the way to go. Spray the area and scrub a bit and suck it up…..
Depending on the stain you might need it to sit a little bit.
The thing about being sold on steam cleaners it depends what you are cleaning. Because to break certain bonds it has to be hotter then what a steam cleaner can deliver, which is why chemical cleaners are used rather than heat sometimes.

Took me less than 5 mins really. Nope used the Bissell Spot cleaner Pro. Don't think the Machine will do all that work for you. I did soak the mat and scrub with a carpet cleaner solution and stiff brush. Came out pretty much brand new to me.
