Please post them in the same format that you would in the moderated section as per the guidelines HERE

Why post a Tuarus? I figure we have similar engine designs/displacement/etc, so some of you might be interested.

mods: forged pistons, 60-1 HIFI, FMIC, EH intake, ungraded fuel system, cryo IC sprayer (390whp, 394ft lbs without sprayer)

(MEVI installed but disabled)
K&N Pod filter
Standard exhust

Was gutted they tested in 2nd gear, I have mevi but the control solenoid wasn't working during the run.

Can some one please explain the air/fuel ratio, I think my car is running rich as I can smell gas from the exhaust is that what the lower graph is showing?

I also notice I have pretty good torque figures, I'm sure with a better geared run and MEVI working I would get closer to 120-125kw

220WHP - 223.8WTQ 1995 SE 5spd

Mods-
-VQ35 Swap
-Short Ram Intake
-Modified 3.5 TB
-Motostorm UDP
-Greddy knock off AFPR
-3.0 stock headers/ WS Y-pipe
-Gutted cat
-Spec Stage2 clutch
-somewhat tuning with the SAFC (taken from the 10s and 9s up to the 12s, so not up to where it should be yet)

This is a dynojet. I hit the dyno the weekend after I got done with the swap. Keep in mind 2 things, elevation (for some DUMB REASON) is set to 4500ft. Also, i had an exhaust leak at the time.

I'll do a few more things to my setup (hush!) and retune.

dam, nice dynos you guys! I'm new to the maxima power area. I have modded my bro's 05 Type S hondata, etc and it ran low 14's a fun little car. And he now has a 12 Sec STi and I am very knowledgeable with those cars and some others, but the maxima, I really need help. I am currently an owner of a 99 Maxima SE 5 SPD and I am thinking of getting a stillen short ram intake, Greddy SP2 exhaust, custom testpipe, and a Stillen short shifter since the dam throws suck!!!! I am spoiled with driving a Type S and STi so when I jump back into the dam maxima it feels like a truck shifter. Especially when they both have short shifter kits on them. What do you guys think? What could my power numbers be like with those mods?

172 HP 186 ft-lbs TQ - 1996 I30 Auto transmission

Dynoed on a Dynojet (not sure about model #) with the following mods:

Place Racing CAI with K&N Filter
Budget Y- Pipe
Budget B - pipe
5th gen muffler (lol)
Hayden 403 transmission cooler
VAFC II (not tuned at all until I get a WB O2)

Check out that drop after 4700 rpms! And my pretty flat AF curve.

Please quit posting about what you "think" you're gonna have! Haven't you learned by now? Two of your posts have been deleted in other threads for this same thing. I truly hope you break 500hp, but until then.......

He will not make anything close to 450 or 500hp with a 3.125 pulley. We will believe it when we see it.

Here's my latest dyno.

HP mods are , cattman gen 3 headers, fastcat and catback, NWP spacers, custom short ram intake, tuned with greddy e-manage blue at 12.2 AFR WOT.

Non HP mods which contributed to the numbers, fidanza flywheel, exedy stage 1 clutch, and a brand new 06 6spd with HLSD.

**sorry Mods, i think this is where my thread should have been.**

Hey guys, I've told alot of people i would be posting this for everyone to get an idea what certain mods might do to your vehicle..

Car was Dyno'd @ Power Fab Automotive in Houston, TX

Unfortunately i never dyno'd in BONE stock, but i tend to say the vehicle is "stock"

Specs: 03 Nissan Maxima 4AT 74k (original engine/miles)

First run made 183whp w/:
1. Injen CAI
2. Stillen Ground Kit
3. Tsudo 2.5" Exhaust

Second Run made 193whp w/ only 1 additional part:
4. Megan Test Pipe

Cons about Megan Test pipe:

It DID NOT line up right. Test pipe was too long and needed
to be cut are Rewelded, Thanks to the boys @ Power Fab It was
taken care of!

If you can see close enough on the 193whp run, at about 5,500rpm it started gaining a bit horsepower until around 6200rpm it gained almost 16whp towards the top end w/ ONLY a Megan Test Pipe.

DYNO SHEET TIME!!!

*** This is my GFs Grocery Getter/Weekend Warriror/Daily Driver! Props goes out to her for understanding and Joining my Passion for Cars! Great support from her and i don't know how i would get through all my builds w/o her!***

Dyno before and after CAI.

I posted this along time ago when I was evaluating a cold air intake. There was a lot of discussion about whether my dyno was accurate given that the before and after had been done over a 6 month period. I will leave it to the reader to decide. The first 3 pages shows the dyno runs with the stock car, at the time it was 7 months old, but using summer fuel. The last page shows the dyno runs with the Injen CAI installed, the car now 12 months old, but using winter fuel. I have not exhaustively looked but what I read does not suggest that winter versus summer fuel will cause this kind of torque degradation.

The CAI was definitely louder than stock so if that is what you like then I would certainly suggest it. Floor the throttle and there is no mistaking that sound. But a drop in almost 20 lbs torque just didn't seem like a positive to me so I pulled it and sold the CAI.

I'm going to do the 100k plug/coil change and I will probably do another dyno run to see where I stand.

Can you post a link? That would be helpful.

Also, I've been charting my dyno runs since 2005, some in the summer, some in the winter (Dynojet, so variable correction factors), but, with Dynojets, I'm confident it's as close to apples to apples as you can get, especially if it's the same machine, which in my case, it has been.

This is why I like Dynojet, regardless if people say they read high or not. With a Dynojet it is what it is, there is not inputting anything to change the dyno. With other dynos you can put in inputs to make dyno read higher or lower, depending on who is dynoing, but with Dynojet you cant do that and thats the reason I like dyno jet. Take a car making 260whp on a dyno dynamics and put it on a dynojet....I guarantee it will make a different number. Another thing I love about dynojet is that you can get runfiles and just view and them in detail and make different graphs of them and share them with anyone that has the runfile viewer (which you can download for FREE off the dynojet website). I haven't seen other dynos that offer this. With the other dynos you just have to take a pic of the dyno on paper unless there is something I dont know....

kasey07, what changes were made between the two runs on that graph?
