NICE!

Top end gains look really good, but man that is a CRAPPY PIC.

So from the last run (262) you done the elbow port, 09 TB, and 3" testpipe? that was 267 now.

3.5 inch maf
09tb
elbow
3inch test pipe
mounts

yeah peak carried to 267 and change. but from 5500 its picked up nicely up to about 14hp in higher revs. lost some on lowend but it flattened out the tq curve some. My ssim is opened up really well, and the new changes may have called for too much flow. may have them make another for the other elbow and change that on the dyno to see the difference if the porting helps, but im actually happy with how it sits for now. My main look was to get more on top as playing with the vmanage will dial in low and midrange. still on the lookout for a resonably priced used unit.
The next "great big" thing will be the addition of a vmanage, a 75 shot, then retuning for olf and calling it a day. think ive peaked with this motor setup, take some time to enjoy it, and get the minor maintenance issues corrected that have been niggling at me.

Nice numbers! Those are my next mods too, minus the t/b. I just need to find time to put everything on. In your pictures the dyno is so small....is that showing your new dyno compared to your last dyno? Do you have cams?

NO CAMS ;. Been contemplating it, think that with the air mods itll definitely be worthwhile now.
Didnt realize that the pic that I linked wasnt expanded. Ill put the bigger one up tonight. it came up to about 15hp from 5500-6500rpm. Kept the same shape of the curve all the way up top. Peak I only picked up 3 or 4 additional horses. Although i did have some lowend losses its not noticeable at all even with the high stall.
Going with an install of a v manage as soon as i can find one decently priced to see exactly how much more can be dialed in with that addition. as we know the ivt control will afford mid and lowrange adjustments which may make it worth it. Jime recommended it for a dd when i asked, so im on the hunt.

wish u was on a dynojet tho!

DynoDynamics is 10-15 % lower then dynojet?????? Manny?

edit: it depends on factors entered into the dyno too? drag, weight, stuff like that?

Yessir!

But, either way, it was a solid gain for Doug.

I do think, at this power level, it's fitting to get it on a DJ so we can compare ... ahh, dynos. Yeah, Dynos.

Heck I'd even cover some of the costs because this would essentially show me the gains of the 09TB and other items add, as closely as humanly possible.

Holy hell, I've been out of town for a while, I got some catching up to do on the forums ...... whew!!!

Yeah, I been waiting for your numbers for the longest.

09TB's are in like mad now. Everyone is doing them!

If these are 10% lower then he would make 267 + 26 = 293 on a Dynojet??? I don't think so. Thats why I just go to the same dynojet all the time. So with these mustang, dynodynamics, etc. its possible to fake the dyno out and put in bogus factors and make the dyno look higher? You cant do what with a dynojet can you, it just is what it is right? Always wondered why all these other portable dyno types always lower and different. If they were all the same then everyone would be able to compare universally. For example I can go and download Surratt's runfile and put it on the same graph as my runfile and compare.......making everything all different complicates when you trying to compare. Even if dynojets read higher, everyone would be able to compare their high numbers.

Doug - There are no Dynojets around that way up there in MD??

You can swap it in a weekend no problem. If you have a friend you could probably get it done in one day if you both know what you are doing...you get a boost in HP to the wheels, better mpg, and a faster trap by doing the swap. Also the car is alot more fun to drive...

I think I have my swap priced rather well...
