My job moved me to the desert in California and Fri and Sat are the only days I really drive my car any distance. I only use premium gas (91 octane here) and I've noticed that my car seems to surge up and down on the small hills going back to my house. A friend said boostane will up the octane rating significantly and eliminate the surging. He uses it in his Bimmer's and said it works great. I checked their website and all the cars listed are either turbo, s/c'd or running NOS. I contacted them and of course they say it will work fine in the Maxima but I just wanted to know if any of you guys here are using it or even heard of it. Thanks all.

Ive never heard of octane boosters actually doing anything on normal cars

My car does the same thing on hills.. I attribute this to needing a new catalyc converter. What about you? Maybe I'm wrong though.
