ODB-II port on car to computer cable, what's it called?
What is the cable that connects the maxima to a laptop called?
and what program can I use, anyone know, or have some software.?
wanna send it to me?

its hardware oriented. So you need the piece that plugs into your OBD-II port

then you'll need a serial cable to go from the piece into your labtop
then you'll need software specific to the piece of hardware you bought

basically, you have to spend money

yea, this looks interesting, but does anyone have or know of anything cheaper?
or perhaps like maybe a homemade cable, on ebay they spot...
and any other good software?

Just consider it a good investment. The program offers more than just standard code pulling.

www.autoenginuity.com is also another option
