Cam position stumper!!!!!!

Hey guys been searching and working for weeks and still stumped,so it's time to post my own...here goes. My 03 max dies after starting.initially the problem started when the car stalled on my wife.when I went to retrieve the car it started and moved fine until it shifted into second, then the whole car shuts off.after restarting the trans is stuck in 5th.i turned it off and restarted then it drove in first on the trailer.got it home then it didn't even want to start( had to push into the drive way) and here I sit for two weeks now trying to fix it.i am using a friends scanner that is pro grade.its called a autel scanner. Anyways it comes up with cam position bank 1.so buy the sensor and were good rite...nope gone through three and still same code and symptom...although the longer the car sits without trying to start the longer it runs ,if I start it repeatedly it starts and dies but let it sit for a day and it'll run close to a minute.....any help would be much appreciated

Did you replace with OEM parts? These cars are very picky, especially with the MAF sensor.
