Some videos of my fun at the track today.....
I went to Silver Dollar Raceway, which is in middle Georgia. Generally I run about 2/10ths and 1 m.p.h. slower there than at Steele, but I wanted to take a few runs with the new mods to get an idea how it would run. I had to launch soft, no burn outs, due to my clutch still breaking in. The weather was nice, mild, with a temp near 60 degrees.
This first video is me versus an older modified Vette. He ran a 15.3 to my 14.4. Listen carefully to the comments in the background...lol.

The next video is me versus a very modified Mustang GT. He wanted to run "no times". the stang ran a 15.1 versus my 14.5.

The next video is me versus a very modified Type R with I/H/E..etc..etc... He ran a 14.9 to my 14.5.
http://www.deskshare.com/link/1640/Video9.asx
I will post more videos later. All in all I was very happy to run these times without much effort, at a track where the times are usually little slower than Steele.
I am running at Montgomery Friday night, and I should be able to knock at least 2/10ths off, and add another 1+ m.p.h. Then I will be able to launch hard. If I wasn't so impatient I could have waited until then to run...lol.

I bet once you get that clutch broken in, you should do even better.

I did lose a race to an LS1 Camaro, he ran a 13.9 to my 14.5. I'll post that one later.

Good times, warren! I guess Steele was messed up last week, or either your clutch was just that bad. Are you staying in Montgomery Friday night, or driving back? I would like to go, but you know how that goes.

And yes it said 302 mustang. 94-95 GTs were 5.0s which is 302 cubic inches.

I am going to be staying overnight in Montgomery.
I was launching at around 3,000, just "easing" the clutch out.
As for the difference between Steele and Montgomery, I would say around 1/10th improvement. Steele is up to 2/10ths quicker than where I was at SDR.
Last year I ran the Prelude at SDR on a Saturday and went 14.4's @95+ at best. The next day I drove to Steele and ran 14.2's at 97+ with no changes.
Thanks to Shannon for video'ing while holding Julia and watching Olivia, our daughters. That must have been really hard.
I am uploading a couple more now.

Here are two more videos.
The first one is me making a single pass after another car left tranny fluid all over the left lane. There is a video immediately following it, that I left there for Ed,(Maximus1000), of a 5 speed Prelude running a 16.1 after messing up the 1-2nd upshift.

The next Video is me losing to an LS1 Camaro.

Nice videos & nice times.
Something just seems wrong with those cars' times. What kind of Stang GT were they? Most of the 5.0's @ Englishtown & Atco run low 15's to high 14's unless they are running some kind of roots S/C. The Stock 4.6 GT's here are running consistent 14.4's. The Type-R's around here (I/H/E) run low 14's. so..

I would hope to run better there as well.
There was a headwind, but it was only about 5-10 m.p.h.
