How would you go about bolting in the A32MAF!? The MAF is fixed into the housing. The only way I see and have done to modify it would be to cut the OEM housing and bond it to the piping using epoxy.

Can you fill me in?

Combine this with the OEM MAF, and you have coupler connections on both sides now!

ahh! I see now... I thought it was an adapter with a bigger diameter to house the a32 MAF sensor... my bad!

Well, what benefits would you get from this!?

These MAF adapters give you the ability to attach a silicon or rubber coupler to the MAF directly. This allows a whole host of options for custom short-ram intake setups or custom cold air intakes, and is especially helpful for those who are turbo or supercharging because now you can couple your charge pipe to your MAF (blow-through, instead of suck-through).

Sounds good.

The sensor is built into the housing, not a bolt in like the 5th+ generation Maxima's.

Take me off the list, if you've started one. I picked up a used one.

Will be posting up a rendering later today and should have a better estimate of pricing towards the end of next week. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Afterthought: Would you be interested in a replacement filter and high-quality T-bolt clamp to go with this? Likely a Dry-type filter element unless you want an oiled type.

Given the lack of quality pieces on eBay these days and the fact that they are hard to find in the classifieds, I'd be down for one. $50 seems REALLY expensive for what used to be like $10 on eBay, though. I know this is a higher quality piece but it's still a bit steep. That's my only gripe. I'm not saying this as one complaining member, though, I'm saying this as a representative of the community in general because most Maxima owners are very CHEAP. They don't have a lot of money to play with and they will not pay a lot of money for something even if it is quality. I'm just warning you of that now. Lucky for you, this adapter has a lot of uses from your average bolt-on Max to someone making a turbo setup...they all need some way to bolt their MAF to piping.

Posted this up on the site. I am seeing if it is possible to get the pricing down, but we won't sacrifice our business model of making the highest quality part. So it is up to you guys if you are interested. I'll plan on making 50 of these as a test-run.

Although I am not new to this site, HTPerformance is a relatively new company and we are interested in serving you as our customers. For the first run we may be able to lower the price as a kind gesture so that you will get to know who we are and what the quality of our products are. Right now we are poised for large growth and are seeking out sources of funding to increase our R&D efforts and manufacturing capabilities, but in the mean time we'd like to also hear what other parts you are interested in and go from there.

Cheers,
Brian

Waiting to hear back regarding setting up our site sponsorship. No word yet.

Rapid prototype will be finished tomorrow. Will be uploading a picture with it mounted and unmounted to a stock MAF.

We are finishing up the sponsorship tomorrow. I think that we may be able to further discount these pieces, mainly for you guys to see our workmanship and help spread the word!

I am not new to this community, but our products are.

Will keep you posted!
