Just bought a used I30t

I just bought a used 2000 infiniti i30t with 158k miles on it.
Got it checked by a mechanic, nothing major.
Can you guys help me out with the cost for the following -
1. Front rotors and brake pads
2. Driver side window reset(it rolls up all the way and back down)
3. Tie rod
4. CV boot (driver side)

When I started the car in the morning, there was a bit of engine hiccup when i turned the heater all the way up. Is this because of the cold weather(California) or the age of the car.

Welcome to the family.

For the window, there is a reset button for you to push. Shouldn't cast you any money.

Thanks, Dennis.

Removing the Maxima door panel is much easier than the i30.
The i30 takes much more effort and time. Anything specific for i30?
How much would a mechanic charge?

I just took some handles off an i30 for my Maxima a few months ago.

It's not any harder than a Maxima.
Go for it and you'll save yourself those silly labor fees.

Labor varies. I know my mechanic well. So, my labor rate might be low. It also depends on where ya live and who ya know.

My hiccup in the morning was my fuel pump. I had the pump and fuel filter replaced for about $200. The pump was like $80 and the oem nissan filter $23.

One more thing - it didn't come with the keyless entry.
Where can I get one - ebay, Nissan dealership?

You can get the keyfob (remote) where you mentioned as well as other places. The Infiniti made keyfob will be more expensive than a aftermarket one. And a used one is less expensive than a new one of the same type. Do a Google search for 2000 Infiniti keyfob and decide how much you want to spend.

One important piece of information is to make sure the FCC ID of the keyfob is correct for your car. This refers to the radio frequency it works on. Don't rely on someone saying it will work, too many people have gotten screwed that way. Get them to tell you the FCC ID of the keyfob.

The 2000 Infiniti needs a keyfob with a FCC ID of KBRASTU10.
