I have a 2001 infinity i30, and I need help figuring out what's wrong withy engine.
My car starts up just fine but after my engine warms up my car "pulses" and won't pass 1500 rpms. If I give it enough gas it will surpass 1500 but no matter the rpms it won't hold and will go back to 1500. I have none of these problems when it's cold.

I agree with above poster. On the surface it sounds like the Mass Air Flow sensor needs replacing. Go OEM with that, you will thank yourself. I went through 2 aftermarket. First one had the incorrect plug for the vehicle, second one only lasted 6 months. Went OEM and going on 2 years with no issues.

I had the same thing on my '00 around 120k miles. I could rev it hard to pass it, but there was a HUGE dead spot between 1500-3000.
Mine gave me some warning. Mine was worst when the engine was cold. Cold start, I'd let it idle for 30 seconds. I'd give it a couple punches on the gas to break that wall at 2k RPM and it would drive like normal after that. Then it finally failed and I could only limp it around. I could drive it, but barely.
Let us know if it resolves it.
