Maxus 2009 Location (DC Metro Area is Willing and Ready)
Like i've posted in the other thread, there is no reason why Maxus should not be hosted in the DCMAX for next year. Given the outcome of the meet on Sept 27th and the planning put in place in as little as two months, there should be absolutely no question to where it will be held. I've committed to putting in the work, and already have one sponsor willing to put his name down and the name of his company, with another one waiting in reserve for the official word and planning hasn't even officially begun.
Lets get this ball rolling already....please.
Thanks,
Bobbie.

I suggest talking with all maxima and or nissan sites. Lots of people with maximas don't even know about maxima.org but they know other nissan sites.

I can also print as many flyers as I want for the non net people. Someone make the template and i will print them off.

i would imagine to rent summit would be pricey, what about PA? pocono could be rented and not be as expensive. we had our ser convention there in 06 on the south course..

Summit point is extremely expensive. If we were Porsche North America then i'd be all for it but this is the org, people don't have that kind of money.
Nick, details are in the committee group thread, check your invites.

+1 on Maryland or Pennsylvania or NJ.
Seems like there's a ton of orgers in DC and Maryland, and there's a ton in NYC (which is just barely in day-trip range of DC). Decent turnout from NJ and Philly too.

Maybe rentout MIR? Think the gokart track might get boring quick but heard of one where you have to have a license to drive in somewhere in Va, but there Laws=FTL

I think renting a drag strip would be cool, a know somen in a motorcycle club and they would rent out a road course track in va. he said there was about 20-25 people and they would all put up 100bucks each and had the track to themselves for the days
so I am guessing it would cost around 2000-2500 to rent a track the hard part is there are so many events already planned at the tracks this would need to be reserved asap
