Since the Waldorf is full what other hotel are you guys using?
I didn't reserve a room due to my wife's pregnancy, her due date happened to fall on maxus weekend so I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to attend. As it turns out they scheduled her C-section for 7/1/09 so I can now attend MAXUS!!! Anyone can reccomend a hotel closeby the Waldorf?

i tried holiday inn(st. patricks dr) and the agent said they were full. i found several other hotels around the area but they are close to $150 per night. my only backup is staying in arlington va with my cousin...kind of trying to avoid that drive twice a day

^ Super 8 was another option for me too but their reviews were not that great plus I did not want to stay in a dump since my wife is coming too.

But super 8 still has rooms.

Don't be hating. Some of us are broke. I missed the boat on the group rate at the Holiday inn. Super 8 said $130 for the weekend, I said sounds good.

not knocking super 8, all you need it for is to sleep a few hours and shower......

people will probably be hanging out at the Holiday inn anyways.

this is true. Another reason why we picked Super 8. It's really close to the holiday. Can't wait

^ cool, good to see they still have rooms
Will you be going to the Scenic cruise? Maybe we will see each other on sunday morning heading to the holiday inn.

I found that by going through hotels.com you save a few $$.

I cancelled my reservation at the Holiday Inn, so if someone wants to grab a room, there should be one available now.
