Some shots of my new ride - 02 Maxima...
I took delivery of a 'new to me' Maxima on January 9th. With all the snow we have gotten in the Washington DC area, I have driven it all of about 500 miles in 2 months. But it was nice out today so I cleaned it up and snapped some photos.
These photos are untouched and not altered. I am taking a photography class and they ask us not to butcher them up!
Anyway here are some specs...
2002 Maxima GLE Sterling Mist. I have taken off the chrome exterior handles in favor of the body color from the SE.
H-Tech/Illumina Suspension
FSTB
Megan Catback
TE wheels
5k HID Fogs
Stillen Front and Rear Aero Kit (I have the sides just need to get them painted)
35% 3M tint
Fully optioned minus factory NAV (Meridian Package etc..)
Pioneer Nav unit
JL 10w3 strapped to a JL 500.1 amp
SE gauges
TE 'Maxima' sill plates
00/01 SE tails
Debadged
6th gen Big Brake Kit
6th gen engine cover
Blacked out and cleared headlights
Black grille
For all intensive purposes this car is a GLE transformed to a Titanium Edition SE. Only think left from a GLE model is the woodgrain trimming. Normally I am not a woodgrain guy but this is dark enough that it suits my taste.
The car rides nice. The 3.5 provides ample grunt and its an auto so its comfortable, which is what I was looking for in this car. As many of you know I also have a 4th gen which had been modded pretty extensively, so I just wanted a sporty cruiser out of this one. This car was super clean when I bought it (hence why I bought it). There are only minor blemishes on the exterior and in the interior is immaculate!
For whatever reason, I have never been a fan of the 'clear' sidemarkers for the 5th gen. I took them off in favor of the stockers and LOVE it.
On with the pics!

I couldn't decide which style wheel I wanted to stick with. In the end I think the TE wheels suit the Sterling Mist best. Somehow brings out a shine to the paint...
Which ones you guys like best?
Stock finish SE wheels...??
Flat Black SE wheels...??
or the TE wheels...??

TE's FTW!! post up more side shots of the car, i want to see how the tints look like, im getting mine redone and im undecied between 35% and 20% im leaning more toward 35% because 20% is too dark especially with my black interior, like yours.

Thanks for the positive responses guys!
Its a tad tricky, no write up but basically you have to pull the door panels and reach your hand inside the door frame and unscrew 2 nuts on each handle and reverse to put the new ones on. On some of the doors there are access holes in the door frame to gain access to the nuts, but for the others its just a matter of reaching in there and getting them out.
The drivers door was the trickiest because there is also a nut for the door lock. I found it best to take off the two mounting nuts from the inside and do the door lock from the outside of the door.

Alright I'll keep this in one thread but I took the 4th gen out today and snapped some photos of it. The thread in the DC section inspired to me drive around and find some nice vistas. I am still new to this SLR camera and composition so they probably aren't the best. Also I picked up a polarizing filter today and threw it on to see how it worked. Creates a little different shot, colors are more saturated it seems. Still no doctoring or touch ups on these. Anyway here they are...

I'll have some pics up when I spray the Stillen sides. Which should be soon since the weather is clearing up for spring!

Alright did some updates recently. Sound deadened the entire car using Raam Mat. Nice stuff, road noise and rattles have been minimized greatly. Need to probably go back over the parcel shelf behind the rear seat again. With the volume turned up the deck still has some rattles.
Also picked up some G35 Rays 19s and put on Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. I do have a 5mm spacer on the rear. I have a set of 10mm on my 4th gen that I might throw on to see how it looks. No rubbing with the 5mm and it looks like the 10mm might not rub either. Hopefully not. You'll also notice that the wheels are sporting Nissan center caps!!
Was all set to pull the trigger on some new Tein SS coilovers but my fun money budget got shot when my fence blew over in a wind storm we had here in MD. So I ended up using that dough to put a new fence in. But I ended up getting a set of Tein S-tech springs instead. Just a tad lower than the H-techs and the ride isn't that much different in my opinion. Maybe down the road I will revisit the coilovers, but for now these will do. From my experience on every set of springs I have installed they tend to settle so they may end up a little lower than what is shown since I put these on just the other day.
I have had the Stillen side skirts painted up and ready to go for a couple months now but was reluctant to put them on because the stock sides looked decent enough. But now with the Rays on I think putting them on is a necessity. And I also can't decide if I want to keep the 00-01 SE tails on or go back to the stock 02-03 tails. With the wheels on the tails just kind of stick out now.
Anywho, on with the updated pics...
Let me know what you think!

Thanks Albert...when are we going to see yours??
Got tired of the stock sides pretty quickly, threw on the Stillen sides to match the rest of the aero kit. Its a subtle difference but I am loving it so far! Took some quick pics, car is filthy sorry.
