Post your engine bay pics here!! All gens welcome
Post your engine bay pics here!! All gens welcome
This hasn't been done in a while, so I figured I'd kick off a new thread. I'm hoping that this thread will inspire us and give us ideas on what our next mod will be.
Here are the rules:
1. Post one pic of your engine bay (ok ok...3 pics maximum).
2. No neglected, nasty, rusty, ratty engine bay pics allowed.
3. No "work in progress" engine bay shots with the engine removed.
3. Pics should be clear and not blurry (no cel phone or night time pics please)
4. Must have at least 2 mods easily distinguishable in picture(s).
5. If your engine bay is completely stock, it better be hella clean, shiny, glossy, and free of rust. So clean that I could eat off of it.
6. No BS and worthless chit chatting which doesn't contribute to the thread. Compliments are fine.
7. If someone post 3 pictures, and you want to talk about 1 picture, please don't quote ALL 3 Pictures...this will keep the repetitiveness and scrolling to a minimum.
8. If you don't like what you see, either stay quiet or offer constructive criticism. Don't be a d1ck about it.
Optional: Provide a brief list of only your mods related to the engine/engine bay (what we see in your picture(s))
GO!!

Way to get things going phatboi! Nice!! Looking forward to your revised pics. Be sure to show a closeup shot of your wrinkled valve cover(s).
Tigershark: Good pic dude. Nice valve cover. I'll post up mine soon enough.
Greeny: I knew I should have specified "Maximas only" You win.
Ghozt: Great pic. Nice mods too. Looks like a clean install on that custom CAI. Your color choice appears to be "Superman" red.
blackonblack: Oooooh yeah...bring it. What BOV is that? Does it bolt right up to the original flange on the Stillen charge pipe? or custom?
hero: That looks good! I spy nice personal touches everywhere (ie fender washers). That reminds me, I gotta install mine!
danmack: Clean install. Looks like it came from the factory.
JonBlz: Nice and glossy.

1. you would need a good cleaner like simple green or purple power
2. a steam cleaner would also come in handy
3. assorted brushes for scrubbing
3b. a lot of rags
4. something to shine the plastics, such as tire shine.
5. a low pressure hose to rinse with
