Finally! My Crimson Blaze A32!

I brought my car in late April, I've been stuck in Kansas because I got surgery on my leg and now I'm finally healthy enough to operate my own vehicle!!! But now, I get to see my '99 Maxima in Crimson Blaze glory tomorrow!! (Pics tomorrow after I do a couple of things to it)

[Edit]
This is pretty much a diary my car. I'll post new photos whenever I got new goodies for the car!!!

[edit2]
There are VQ35 plans for this car, but I am not in a rush to put it in, I am quite pleased with the performance of my 192k mile VQ30DE, one day it'll crap out and then I will drop in the VQ35.

With that being said, I realised that I don't really have a mod list anywhere on this forum, I keep the local forums more up to date then the org lol, anyways FULL DETAILS!

I determine it is a mod if the car did not come with it from the factory, with that being said...

Was it in a front-end collision or something?

It looks like an imperfection in the bumper above the driver's side turn signal light.

It's an SE-L, but no foglights? And it doesn't have those goofy things that they put on if the car didn't come with foglights.

Those headlights are definitely from a 95 or 96, you can tell by the fluted lens.

And that grille is not stock - it should be red, not black.

Other than that, clean looking car. IMO clear bumper lights and red/clear tail lights, plus getting some OEM fogs and painting the grille red, then you'd be lookin' even fresher.

Heh yah I brought it from another member who chopped off quite a few parts from it, it's I guess below stock right now as you guys noticed, the more I drive to more I rearrange my to do list, I ordered some black bumper lens already (the amber ones fall off while I'm driving, I think it's not screwed in, I have a box of screws in the car, just need to find the right ones that hold em in). I just got done driving it at night and I'm going to buy headlights asap, the night lighting is quite poor with those, the former owner sold his R34s, fogs, sound system and some other things too that was on the car.

Btw it's not completely stock, it has a SRI, WS-Y, High Flow Cat, ?Brand? Short Shifter, and uhhh it's dropped as you see but I have no idea on what tho...

What I did today:
-After a nice 6am departure from Kansas, I landed in houston at 7:40isham, then I got to fight some good ol' big city traffic that I certainly did not miss, got home around 9:30 and then printed out my insurance card and tore Grand Parkway a new *******... After that I got home and got down to the bizness...
-Took apart the whole middle console, did a test fit with the radio, it fits up perfectly w/o needing anything to align the screws. So then I went to the store to buy some stuff for the radio. After I brought the harnesses the only problem I ran into is that the radio I brought has a fudged up harness, so I'm going to best buy tomorrow morning and get a pioneer plug so I can get more play room with the wires.
-Wash/Wax the car (as you see w/ the products I got for it today, not the best, but took a few years/k-miles offa the car)
-Photoshoot with my friend
-Attempted and failed to get it registered

The Immediate Future:
-Find Headlights+Corner lamps
-Install my radio
-Hop over some hurdles to get it registered (a bum O2 sensor aint helpin either!)
-Fix my A/C
-Fix my dash/interior trim (Hey Flava... about that interior trim kit of yours....)
-Install my bumper black bumper lights when I get back up to school next week (they were shipped to Kansas... fail on my part)

Far Ahead:
-Adjust the short shifter (I might start another thread for this one... The shifter tilts to the right and I damn near miss 2nd thru 5th gears when I'm trying to go fast)
-Fog lights
-Work more on the minor imperfections that I can easily do w/o spending more than $10 (coughcough95maximase'sleftovergorillatapecoughcou gh)
-Get the outside tails w/o the amber corners
-Go to AA (Accelerators Anonymous) to fix my addiction to the growl @ 3k

Done!!!

So you were one who bought that max. I looked at it when it was for sale, but decided not to get it. You got a good starting point.

These are flattering photos of it, it needs quite a bit of work still (notice no interior shots...), but I have no complaints @ $2600.

So after attempting my first mod I failed (sign of things to come?). After attempting to install the black bumper lights the hole for the screw off of the stock bumper lights is too small!!! And I made friends with the local nissan dealership because also I found why my stock bumper lights didn't stay in (hence the duct tape on them)... because I was missing the lil $1 grommet that belonged in the hole, so now I just may put back in my stockies until I can either a. get ahold of the seller from ebay or b. drill a hole big enough for it... did you guys run into the same problems??

Thanks!!! I was in the same boat up until I came across a list in of colors in Jan. A certain "AR2" (I think that's it) caught my eye, and I was like wtf, I've never seen this before... few months later I find one up for sale and pulled the trigger as soon as I got the money.
