1997 Maxima
Hello from Alabama.
My lovely fiance just purchased a '97 Maxima about a month ago. I sorta like the car, but I'll never love it like I do My 3rd Generation Accord. Still, either way, this car is alot newer than my 3gee, so alot is different. I believe my second project for this car will be probably converting all lighting except the headlights to LEDs, like The Honda, cluster first of course. I need to find a .PDF version of the manual though, as i have webpage copies downloaded as they're all i have found so far. Overall, the car isn't that bad though, being a V6/5 Speed. Only drawbacks so far I've found is:
1.The Anti-Theft system has a mind of its own at times.
2.The headlights dim alot when i hit the brakes(May be a weak alternator/battery though my 3gee did it until i swapped to LEDs)
3.The stick shifter is longer than it really should be.
4.This car has more sway that a powerline in a hurricane.
5.There's no door lighting in the rear doors.
6.There's no interior floor lighting.
