Wassup fam!

I'm from the Bronx, love my car 2013 Maxima SV, 32k on it. Came to the site to learn more about this car from real people. This is my first Max. I like enhancements and modifications. Currently have a vibration issue that I'm trying to resolve. Other than that, it runs nice. Just put new wheels and Continentals on.

Did the wheels you put on require a hub centric ring?

Thank you. Ironic you ask, because when I went to a different place last week to get a RF balance, they found my custom wheels required rings and none were on the car. My Maxima measures .66 and my custom wheels measured .82 - no rings!!!!! Hence, the vibration. Apparently, no one has rings .82, I'm having them custom made. In the meantime I staggered some 20s on it, but took it right back noticing rubbing and found the rear differential was wrong, couldn't clear the fender. Tomorrow, my new 20s are coming in that are supposed to fit.
In winter I will put the custom wheels and continentals back on. Should surely have the rings by then!!!! smh I'm having quite the ordeal with getting the car a smooth ride. Even now, the alignment seems off again. I really need a trustworthy honest place with real mechanics to tell me how can I make my ride proper. But as a woman here at least, I don't think anyone is taking me serious because they seem to give me anything, say I don't need anything, tell me it rides great and that's not the case. I don't have a mechanic or "pro" by my side to ask the right questions. The forums are helping me to do that.

That does stink and I can imagine as a woman, it can be very challenging. Guys will look down on you, but you definitely sound like someone that knows what they are talking about. 82 is an usual size, but hopefully you get them and it gets worked out. I, personally, have had issues with balancing wheels. Shops don't do it as careful as they should and I seem to be very sensitive to any type of vibration.

These forums are awesome and with any luck, you will get your ride exactly the way you want. Just ask away.
