So if I understand correctly, this should also fit our transmissions?

It is cheaper and comes with a good amount of stuff.

Not the whole thing, 3rd, 4th and 5th would work though. The input shaft in the AWD cars is different than our input shaft... you would have no reverse (notice no reverse splines between 1st and 2nd gear). I need to update that info in my original post - I somehow did not realize this when I first posted this thread.

Also be sure to recalculate the price of the PAR and PPG sets, I think a lot has changed with exchange rates since I made this post. If you want 1st and 2nd gear at this point, PAR is the only option unless you can convince PPG or Quaife or someone else to do a new input shaft that has our style reverse on it.

PPG is willing to make it but it will cost alot, I had spoken to them about it I even sent them an input shaft but I could not agree on thier price so I went with Par who is making me a 1-4 dog box, 4.10 ring&pinion and a gear cuff thats going to take the place of the 5th gear for my 50A trans .

I just wanted to let you know, while reading your post I noticed you said something about not knowing anyone breaking a case.
I personally have broken 3 cases. The first was by far the worst.
In fact I attributed most of my problem to my clutch setup.

Neal, you mentioned before about the internals being the same on 3rd and 4th gen trannis. Does that mean we can use a 5spd or 6spd trans on the 3rd engines if we swap the bell housing?

And, can a Quaife diff be added to a non-HLSD 6spd?

Thanks,
Mark
