Sumitomo HTR+ Anyone got?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has these tires. I just got a set of 235/45Z17 i think thats how u write it. Well the previous owner had them put on before i bought the car. My max is a 98 SE 5 speed, with a intake and front strut and rear sway bar. Anyways the tires are EXTREMELY LOUD!! expectually at like 60mph. Or maybe im confusing it with intake noise but i can put it into N and it still has the same loud humming.. anyone else have this experience??

Maybe the tires are worn out.

I'm swapping my summer tires out for 235/45/17 Sumitomo HTR+ all season this week. Don't expect these to perform like P-Zero, but for $80/a piece.. its best bang for the buck.

like Ange said, best tire for the $. Check out the ratings at Tirerack, it's one of the better all season high performance tire and also one of the cheapest. It's ratings are close to those Michelins that cost like 180 a piece.

I had these tires on my 3rd gen and they absolutely rocked.
I will get them again once my Potenzas wear out.

a friend of mine is having issues on his TL though, got bubbles in 2 of the tires and they are brand new. Maybe the sidewall is weak or he just drives like a moron

gotta watch out for them potholes

I'm sure these Sumitomo HTR+ will perform far better than Yokohama Avid H4's that I had for last winter (it was disappointing).

Well i found out why my tires were so damn noisey. When i pulled it outta the garage this morning it make a noise then i got about 15ft down the street and relized that it was FLAT!! a brand new tire with a giant screw went threw it!!! and the lug nuts were so loose i took them out with my fingers. So took it 2 the shop and there patching it from the inside. sniff i hope shes ok!!
