ok guys i ran my maxi stock last year and ran a 15.2. this year i wanna get into the 14.9 my modz i have is in my sig thanx.

Take all the doors off. and the seats in back and passenger seat. take out the airbags. take out the rear speakers. and front. take out your sterio, if you have sub box take that out as well. take out he sapre tire in the back. the jack and any other metal in your trunk. then do a run . with out any engine mods you would diffinitly get around 14.9 even less.
if you wan to be better then put a stillen turbo in the car. with 12.0 boost. you could do some damage. or get two 400 shots NOS. :)

I think with a Y-Pipe, you'll be pretty close.

2 400 shot of NOS should do the trick to get you under 15 :laugh:

anyway, seeing that your only performance mods are an intake and clutch, unless you drive better than last time, you'll probably shave like 0.1-0.2 off your stock time.

that and if he takes all the doors off might even get him to do 8 second or less. you need to make your max a lot lighter. thats the key. and if yoru car is stick shift. practce how to change your gears. actually do power shifts. dont use ur cluch. all you have to do. is rev your engine when it hits 5000 rpm you drop it in first gear. you have do that with some force. and then when you get about 30mph you do the same thing you do that until you get to the last gear then if you put the NOS in you press both bottons at the same time. until you get 800 shots in the engine. make sure you reinforce everthing int he engine. then you would have some awsome results.

I personally think that CystumMax should be romoved of all posting privileges on this thread.

With your mods you could hit 14.9 with some practice. I hit 15.0 stock so with your mods it isnt unreasonable.
Get a Ypipe...best bang for the buck.
Whoever says this isnt true is an idiot. With the Ypipe and practice 14.7 is definitely within reach for you.

A MEVI would help even more, but it costs a bit more than just a Y-Pipe. But that's for freeway driving, not really the 1/4 mile. (The MEVI)

What I mean is:
You will gain .3 seconds on the 1/4 mile with both the Y-Pipe and the MEVI - pretty much equal.

On the freeway, however the MEVI will shine alot more than the Y-Pipe at high RPM.

All i did was slap a few nitto stickers on my car & bought some type R seat belt covers...I'm in the 12's!!! When I take the car seat out & the 50 pounds of groceries out of the car I get 8's!! What's the matter with your maxes...How come ya'll are getting 15's!! I tell ya...4 door sedan...Can't expect any less then 12's!!!

as for this thread i know how to joke and i do just as much as anyone else, however when someone is trying to ask a serious question and you give BS answers they arent needed...i joke sometimes on the org too but you seem to feel like you need to say dumb a$$ sh!t everytime you post which does get annoying.

i have seen a couple of people run mid 14's with just an intake, y-pipe and act clutch, so you should break into the 14's as long as you get good 60ft times.

anyways, with those mods you should be able to smoke a 2k3 max easily if you know how to drive good

have you become a better driver since last time you went to the track? if so...you can knock off about 0.2 with better driving (launch and quicker shifting) and maybe 0.1 wiht the intake.
the clutch...well i don't know...unless you have slicks or something it shouldn't change too much.

so i'd aim for a 15.0
its just nice to break the barrier and get into the 14's :D

like since last time i went to the track, i've become a better driver and added a ypipe. so im looking for a 0.4 second improvement from my 15.0 -> 14.6

If you get a y pipe you will DEFINITELY get 14s ....maybe not all the time but you will hit it.

ok, im done ranting now, but yeah, when i head back im hoping for a 14.999999999999999 or something. I think i might be able to nail it. Finishing off my intake, rotating my bald *** tires non-grip tirs, tune-up...

get a y-pipe, take out ur spare tires and other junks u have on ur car... if u have 16" wheels more bigger take them off and put ur stock 15"s back if it's in good condition (smaller tire, less rotation energy), lastly with ur driving ability u should be able to hit 14s :)
