i don't get it..
guys first time at track gets a 14.9... i go almost everyweekend and i can only get 15.5.
ofcourse im auto. and the only weight saving i did was the spare tire... yet i have ypipe,exhaust,cai.. shouldn't i be running a little better times? |
That's just the difference between autos and manuals. And take out your big subwoofer. That thing is probably cancelling out all your performance mods. What's your 60' time?
|
hmm i think you should be running a little better still all things considered. Have you done all you're tune-ups and whats your track prep? But still yeah.. it sucks to be us auto guys.
|
sounds like you should be doing better, what are your 60 ft times, did you lower your tire pressure?

60' foot times are 2.3's and 2.4's would the tps sensor have anything to do with the running of the car at all? |
TPS is for idle I think... maybe it's the knock sensor (0304)?
|
get your 60s in the 2.1 range and you should be running better times.

i don't stall it as high as it will go b/c my cv joints start rattliing (i think thats what is rattling,, coming from passenter front) if i stall higher would my 60' be better? |
I pulled a 2.2 granny launching (1800 or so), but I'm 5-speed, maybe manuals are easier to launch...
|
I try to abuse my auto on launch. I was able to pull a 2.2 60'.
