I have an 1986 Max, and I was told by the emgine diagnosis, that I needed a Crank angle sensor thats located inside the disributor. Because the car wouldn't start.

Well I went to a junk yard and got one (a distributor). Because they wouldn't sell the Crank angle sensor without it. (The Distributor)

I dont think it worked.

I went back and got another that looked to be in better condition, I dont think that work either.

Now keep in mind that the car turns over beautifully.

Then someone said to me that after I change the disributor, I have to do somthing else to get it started.

Anybody know what that is?

Since you removed the stock distributor did you set the engine at TDC? If you didn't put the #1 cylinder at TDC, during the install of the distributor your ignition timing will be way off.
