car won't run... where do i start?
 

i was making my pizza delivering rounds last night when my car straight up died on me. it'll turn over and "run" for about 3 seconds (by "run" i mean sputter at 300rpms before shutting off) :help:

i'd really like to give up driving my dad's 2k3 SE maxima and get the 2nd gen back (yeah right :hahano: )

check for spark at the plugs

if that ok chek for fule psi

You might want to check for codes. Sounds like maybe a MAF malfunction. Also you could have a bad ECU but I doubt that. Check to see if you can start the car without the maf plugged in. If it does that sputter thing again.

so i never had time to look at the car until today...

turns out the intake fell off right behind the MAF :rofl:

problem solved though and its running way better than before with the intake hooked up and all :rolleyes:

huh, hows that even happen

Probably because he has a missing clip for the harness maybe. Those things have been known to break/go shooting off into the unknown.
