Have you ever run your car at the track? I know our cars have big problems breathing up top, and I am wondering if the Z heads made a difference?

so you did get a STS in? Which one did you end up using, and how hard was it to put in.

oh and japanese lesson of the day Shiro=White (direct translation)
just brought that up because knowing a little japanese and i see "i have a Shiro white edition car" sounds redundant to me now

Thanks for the lesson niku....now go back to your little hole.
Leigh's car is freakin awesome no matter the color. Probably going to be a bit faster than me when get gets the lighten flywheel in.
BTW Leigh, how did the HID's work out? Also what did you use for poly-filling the engine mount? Mine is fubared again. I swear my car has an appetite for half-shafts and mounts.

Naw, I haven't had it dyno'd, no need to for me. All I know is that it puts you back in your seat hard and everyone who goes for a ride can't believe it!!!
Here's a couple pics of the car. I wanted the car to still look pretty plain, hence no spoiler, no tinted windows, etc. Almost a sleeper except for the wheels and tires. The second shot is of the engine compartment.
I was build up a fiberglass airbox for the intake and graft a turbo 300ZX hood scoop on the passenger side there, thought it would have looked pretty cool.
I actually had the set up all mocked up for twinning this beast, there is enough room to do it, then I was going to have two air boxes and two 300ZX hood scoops, would have looked trick!
I am asking $4100 USD. There is a PILE of stuff to go with it. Trust me, $4100 USD is EASILY justified based on what's been done to this car and what is being included.
Cheers!

Another mod to add to the TurboMax list, water/methanol injection. Just completed the install tonight. Now with the 15 lbs of boost and premium fuel, detonation is DRASTICALLY reduced. Stock, these babies are set to run at about 9lbs boost, I have an adjuster on there and have it set at 15lbs boost, that is about the limit for these turbos on these engines without an intercooler, the charge is getting mighty hot by now. Next up, since the boost pressure switch is now controlling the water/meth injection, I am going to hook up a supplemental fuel injector to give old girl some more juice at boost, I have the system tripping at about 8 lbs right now. Works freakin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody has to buy this car man, you seriously wouldn't be dissapointed!!! Having too much fun with it. :-)

It's where you have a sub-system which is triggered by higher boost that basically squirts water or water/methanol or water/alcohol into the engine. This in turn helps retard detonation brought on by higher boost and a really hot compressed air charge. Water injection has been around for years, you should google it and read up, some pretty good info about it. Cool stuff. Even take a look on Ebay at some retail kits just to get a handle on the parts. Cheers.

Not to mention, it really helps keep your engine cleaner too, it basically 'steam' cleans alot of the carbon out of your engine as well. :-) I am installing the same on my turbo diesel to help cool down the air charge before it enters engine, as well as help blast out some of the carbon crap. I am also installing a misting system on the intercooler on my diesel to raise the cooling efficiency of the IC when the system is on. Evaporating water is an endothermic reaction, it really drops the temp of the air charge when turned on.
Heres my truck: (you can see my TurboMax tucked in behind it, that should give you some idea how big my SuperDuty is) :-)
