I've got my 84 sedan listed for sale in the classifieds. Very straight, clean, rust-free car. Check it out!

Does it run well enough for a 2000 mile trip back to Mass?

(not kidding)

83_Max Apr 26, 2006 09:03 AM

It probably would have. 141,xxx miles and going strong. A tune-up and an inner tie-rod end and it would have gone there and back I'm sure.

It's gone now though... :(

By "gone" you mean sold right. Please tell me the car
is not waiting to be crushed in some junkyard.

83_Max Apr 26, 2006 12:37 PM

Oh no! I sold it, but was hoping to sell it to a fellow enthusiast, not a 17 year old for her DD.

Unfortunately, like old most cars that aren't loved enough, something will happent that will appear to be cost prohbitive, or she will run it into the ground and it will end up in line for the crusher at a local JY.

That is, unfortunately, the fate that meets most of these cars...

I wish more Toyota Camry SEs & Ford Taurus Rental Sedans would
end up in JYs and crushed into cubes. God knows we don't need any
more boring cars littering the streets. :D
