Spark plugs info

What are the recommeded NGK plugs to use in my 88 Maxima? I had coppers in there, but recently replaced them with some v-power plugs. I now seem to be having some slight missing issues at idle that I didn't have before. If I turn on my headlights or my heater, the missing goes away. I also replaced the plug wires.

I have the V-powers, as well. I am leaning towards other (coil, etc.) problems, as I replaced the cap and button, too. It only does it every now and then, so that is what lead me to the "hasn't been replaced in 21 yrs" parts.

IDK, but I don't think it's your plugs, unless you didn't gap 'em. Or didn't tighten them down properly.

I have 8mm Packard wires, they are new and will fit your car... I bought them thinking they might fit mine.

Make an offer.

well... if your gap isnt right, detonation (under boost usually), and possible knocking.

I just use NGK platinum plugs in my VG, or Denso Iridum plugs in my VG30DE and VQ35DE.

(hey Goon. What kinda front end is that on your 3rd gen? It kinda looks like a cefeiro, or a S13 Silvia Aero bumber. Very nice max!!)
