Second Call for 2nd Generation Maxima parts

If anyone needs 2nd gen Maxima parts let me know. Eventually the 4 Maxima's available will be crushed to make room for more cars. There is one 1986, one 1987 and two 1988's.

Can you PM me your number? I need some small pieces for my 87 SE. I would like a white front bumper. But shipping would suck.

85 86 nose parts needed

Hi. Visited/ joined forum searching for source of repair parts. I was VERY happy to see the posts.
I located an 86 Max w/81k miles, leather, garaged. They hit a deer. If available, Prices please, R & Left Headlight. Grill and lower Grill filler panel (light brown if poss?) I am in the Portland, OR area. Shipping zip 98684. If you are close, a matching hood and core support would be useful.
Radiator for automatic?
Thanx for saving parts for the Early parts. barthman

Nice! We gotta keep em on the road. I am including a picture of the 86 Maxima available. Last I checked all of the parts you need are there. I am located in Atlanta, GA. The car also had all 4 stock wheels, the ones that look like man hole covers. I would have to pull the parts. I'll get back to you on a price quote. Check out the pictures.

Thanks for the quick reply. Right headlight looks kinda toasted. Can you ballpark price for good left headlight, Grill and lower screw on filler piece (above bumper) w/ approximate shipping quote to 98684? Also, can you give me a cost and potential shipping separately for one wheel with no tire?
I'm still trying to make a deal for the car so putting up bracket on the parts cost will help me a lot.
Can you tell me where to locate the paint code numbers? Any source for a better right hand headlight? Thanks again for your efforts. barthman

No problem. The good left (driverside) headlight is $50.00 and $20.00 for the filler piece above the front bumper. Wheels are $55 a piece. It's hard to give an accurate price on shipping being the items aren't packaged up and weighted. Headlights for the 85-86 Maxima are hard to come by. I haven't even seen any on Ebay. If I had to guess I'd say $50 to ship the wheel, $20 to ship the light and $15.00 to ship the filler panel. I'll post a better picture of the parts. I can start pulling parts as early as today and there is possibly that someone could've grabbed the parts. I'll know for sure when I get out in the yard.

Are you still looking for Wagon parts? An 85' Maxima wagon, light blue just got put out on the yard at my local junkyard on May 24, 2017. Only parts missing from the car currently are the front bumper, driver head light, grill and corner lights. And the radio. Other than that the car is complete.

Thanks for the reply,
Could you ballpark a price for me for the original and eq with shipping to Denver? My tape deck broke.
I have an 87 wagon.

I can do that, what's your zipcode? I can't guarantee the tape deck works. The one I have is on a shelf and the paint on the buttons are worn off in a section. The radio is gone out of the junkyard wagon. $16.00 for the radio plus whatever the shipping to Denver will be.

nice work Starks, if you grab the Right side head light I more then likely will get it from you later, mine has a chip in it and needs to be repainted anyway, but it will be a few before I can get it since the G20 I was driving blew a head gasket so had to put the Maxima back on the road.....

For some reason, the right, passenger head light, the only head light available is on the front seat, I'll go in there and inspect it for damage. If it's straight I'll grab it and hold it for you.

Thanks, might want to pull the trim on the top corners of the bumpers, those are always hard to come by and always needed when the front end gets hit, if you can get them off without breaking them irrc 8mm nut on the bottom side with lots of wd40 so it doesn't twist the bolt out of the plastic.

The wagon out there now has the whole front missing, bumper, grill, corner lights. But the passenger headlight was on the passenger seat last time I was out there. I'll keep thar in mind if another one comes in.

I know this post is probably already old, but any chance you find 2nd gen, I am looking for a relay cover that's front of the battery, Mine was eaten through by battery acid from a previous owner, so I have no cover on it, which I need. PM me if you do find one

Relay Cover

I think I have one from my parts car. I'll check and let you know. They just crushed 1 of the 2 87's at the junkyard. I'll see if they still have the other one.

The relay cover wasn't where I thought it was yesterday when I looked. I'll get back to you when I find it. I found everything but the cover.

No not yet. It's bothering me because I know I have it. It has to be out in the shed. I have found like every part except that. I will check the shed on Saturday.

Hey what’s up? I’m sure I have that thermostat housing cover. I will dig it out and send a picture of it. Shoot me a text at (678) 634-8266 so I can send the picture. Give me a couple of days.

Hey what’s up? I have that part but it is cracked in the center and will need repair. It isn’t in 2 pieces, just cracked like half way through. I repaired my cracked center console with epoxy and fiberglass mat fairly easy and it’s good as new. Also it is gray I believe. I can send a picture if you’re still interested. Shoot me a text at (678) 634-8266 if you want a picture.

Probably beating a dead horse, but if there are headlights and/or the combination headlight switch available from any surviving 87's, let me know. I think I got a short in my switch that's causing the driver low beam to @#$% the bed.

Are any of those 2nd gens manual transmission? I misplaced my mounting brackets where the transmission mounts mount to so I need the mounting brackets that bolt to the body. I converted my 88' from automatic to manual and I had/have the mounting brackets from my 87' Maxima parts car somewhere. Thanks!
