Air regulator

Hey guys has anyone know of the air regulator on Nissan Pathfinder would work on our MaxiMa manual tranny since ours is round and the pathfinder I saw is square and wondering if there would be fitment issue? Since no one carries for the Maxima I would thought the VG engine uses same one across the board

hmm what do you mean by air regulator? the mass air flow sensor?

It part of the idle air control it mounted by the intake which help regulate the idle from cold starts keep car from stalling

Just do the mod under "[h4=left]Air Regulator Repair Info" in the Sticky Threads Section. Thanks to Pkfinn. I did that to mine years ago and it's still working great. When the engine is cold the air regulator keeps the rpm high then drops to idle speed as it warms up. The problem I had was car kept stalling when cold. [/h4]

I did attempt to do the repair but the bimetallic is disintegrated when I took it off since the car has 171,000 miles and the part is original so I’m $hit out of luck with the part
