Voltage issues

Has anyone experience the alternator issues? I swapped a brand new alternator 7 months ago and I replaced it because my volt meter moved from 14
to 12 volts so it replaced. Some four months later it did it again so I had it it checked and the regulator failed. So I have a lifetime warranty so I got around to replacing it again today. Seem to solved the problem then I noticed when I turn the ac on the voltage drop and goes back to 14 then intermintely going 12 at random so I went to get tested voltage passed but not consistently pushing 14v so am I missing something here?

is there fusible links on the battery? i cant remember if 2nd gens have them but if they do, old Nissans are bad for those wearing out and you'll get weird electrical issues with them

otherwise the charging system is fairly basic, i'd be checking all the grounds, hot wires, and the wiring to the connector for the alternator

Sounds like a loose connection/dirty ground and those battery fusible links located at the positive post are more than likely the problem! Be sure to check your alternator "B" terminal and wire condition...Clean all your grounds and maybe install star washers at every ground location!
