door lock actuators
the actuator in the drivers door on my car doesn't work, but i only realised this after i had an alarm installed, as the remote central locking only opens the other 3 doors, which is very annoying! My question is, will one of the other actuators fit in the drivers door? eg: one of the back doors, cause i can't afford a replacement part right now, and don't really care if a back door doesn't unlock.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

1. Please get a New Holland Tractor and fit a Pearson 32-39 front end loader to it.
2. Now get a 1.8m bucket and fit this to the front end loader. This is easy to do.
3. Now find a soft peice of ground and dig a hole - a very deep one.
4. Now flick the handle on the front end loader and drop the bucket.
5. Fit the Grab to the front end loader and crowd the grab till the handle clicks back into place. Remember to connect the hydralic hoses.
6. Position the prongs under the car and close the grab all the way down. Now lift the car above the hole and drop it in.
7. Back fill the hole.
8. Buy a 4th Gen Cefiro. Dont buy a NZ spec as they are only 190hp and suck in high rpm. Try to get a 3.0 220hp or failing that get the 2.5 190hp which will beat a 3rd gen by a mile anyway.
This will fix the door lock acutor problem.

I don't think he asked what you think of his car, or whether he should buy a 4th gen or not. He was asking a question about a common problem on our cars.

A few things:
The actuators are NOT interchangeable between doors.
Replacement actuators are $100 - 125 - new and used.
Getting them installed can run you another 100 or so.
Good Luck

Nevertheless, it's hilarious!

you're getting mixed up with door lock timer
door lock timer can be resoldered, usually causes the door locks to stop working more and more often until the power locks dont work at all, you can usually still hear the clicking under the dash but nothing happens
all that starbucks is going to your head
