Help! Can't find Steel Braided Brake Lines

I ordered a set of Goodridge steel braided brake lines from Nopi but they e-mailed back and said they can't get them. I called Goodridge directly and they gave me a part # (22131) for the 89 GXE brake lines and told me to contact A-Tech motorsports. They won't sell directly to retail customers so I asked them if they knew of any company that stocks their product. They explained that there aren't any dot.com parts companies that stock stock Goodridge products, they just place an order on behalf of the customer and wait. I asked them why A-Tech would be any more likely to get their product than Nopi but they didn't have an answer for that. I tried to buy Russel brake lines through Summit Racing but the Russell kit is for four wheel disc not front disc rear drum. The urgency here is that both front brake lines are leaking (nearly 200K miles) so my max is parked until I can figure this out.

I for one missed carparts.com when jcw took it over and just made it into another jcw.com..glad to see they returned it the way it was..but chances are it's probably still one company..just two different faces.

Also check the other members here that are selling brake stuff..

Avalon Racing, GR Racing, custommaxima (?), and others. They might have a set in stock.

That's assuming Stillen has them in stock.......
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's a crapshoot with them.

That's why you explicitly tell Phuong to confirm $tillen does have them in stock. They will be more up front with him than a schmuck like me. :)

It's called realistic. ;)

$tillen couldn't care less about me, but probably care about Phuong's business more.....

GR Racing is definately the way to go for anything dealing with the brakes. Great service, and they should be in stock.
