Is it common for fuel lines on these cars to freeze up during cold weather?

The fuel lines shouldn't freeze inside the line unless water has got in the fuel tank. Though, it's been posted that they may get cold and collect ice on the outside making them brittle and cracking/ breaking.

I live in Minnesota and I have never had a problem. However, when it's cold I always keep my take as full as possible and do toss is fuel anti-freeze (e.g., heet) when it's -20 F or below. Mostly as a precaution. Again, I've not had any problems.

Where do you live that you're concerned about it? How cold?

Good news. The fuel line thawed when it warmed up here in Chicago. I promptly filled the car up and put more Heet in it in order to prevent this from happening again.
