hey guys just wondering how good the monroe sensa-trac shocks/stuts are. i am thinking it is time to replace my front two struts/shocks. are these better than stock? on a scale of 1-10 what do they rate. does anyone know the price? if i wanted to lower my car could i use the monroes with the lowering springs?

lowered cars...toks are "highly" recommeneded if not KYB.

well my car is not lowered and i dont really plan on lowering it so are they ok for regular maximas? are they better than my 12 year old busted shocks/struts. yea which ones do we have shocks or struts or both?

kyb gr2's probably cost the same as the monroe and are from a scale from 1-10 a 8.5. Monroe on the other hand on a scale from 1-10 is a -10, my friend had them and they were horrible.

They came stock on my '00 Altima SE and I think that it handles/drives beautifully. In my opinion they are pretty good struts. IF you have all original struts you should replace them ALL. They are probably long gone and any new struts would be an improvement.
