i just got new reverse indiglo gauges for my max, but i dont know how to remove the old gauges... i thought it would be in my haynes repair manual, but i couldnt find the manual, so if anybody has any instructions i could follow or knows of a site that has the instructions for the 3rd gen it would be much appreciated... thanx

I got them too. You don't remove the old ones....you put the new ones on top of them. After you have the gauge cluster in your hands, first you take the screws off the old gauges, then you slide the new reverse indiglos over your needles and get them in place. The other end of the needles are the hardest part to get on, I made incisions on my indiglos to slip them through. As soon as they're in place, screw them on with the screws you took out. For the Fuel and Temp gauge, I just taped that one on since it has no screws. I'll let you figure the rest for your self.
EDIT: Oh, my bad, I misread your post. If you use Craig Brace's Clock Removal instructions, that should get you 90% there. The rest was really easy. His instructions are located here...
