US guys might get a kick out'a this...

I'm from the frozen north, and I thought I'd let you US guys know how lucky you are when it comes to the price of mods.
I just called 3 seperate places about Intrax springs. One said $500, another said $489, and the third said $480. Those prices are also not installed, and would be subject to a 15% tax above...
Oh...., and I also called about a Stillen body-kit. $330 for the front, $330 for the rear, and $250 per side. Ouch! That's not happening any time soon!
So be thankful the next time you look at your US pricing... ;)

I dont know how this stuff works but does Summit racing not sell to Canada? I assume there would be extra fees or something but I would think it would still be a lot cheaper than those prices.

But... is that in US or Canadian dollars?

How much do these costs in the US anyway?

Wanksta Mar 25, 2003 03:45 PM

move to montanna

Yeah, Summit will sell and ship to Canada. Trouble is, when you take the dollar difference, shipping, and duty....., I probably wouldn't be any better off?
Those prices are in Canadian dollars. I'm pretty sure I've read here that you could pick-up a full Stillen kit for around $480 US, and the springs for about $200. Is that correct?
Hey...., I'd love to move to Montana! Would I have a place to stay???? :D

by 'duty' you mean import tax?

I recently sent my high pressure walbro pump back to Ontario to have it swapped for the regular (not high press) fuel pump. The guy asked me to set the value to $1 so he wouldnt have to pay the tax on it.

I would suggest driving down here to North Dakota and getting the stuff, but we don't have jack here for mods (unless you have a Honda). So, I either order my stuff online or get it cheaper from my .orgy buds! :D
