VQ30DE swap for VE30DE

I have access to a complete wrecked '95 and was thinking of the possibility of replacing the locked motor in my '93 VE. Hard to find used VE motors ($$$). Any inputs would be appreciated regarding engine mounting and compatiblity with a '93 trans.

Apart from taste, Money doesn't do anything apart from make it worse. Use the VQ Box not sure about the C.V's. The two engines arn't that differnt (Umm kind of). If its easy tell me because I was thinking of doing the same swap as I can get the engine etc.. from work dirt cheap.
Post pics when your done if u get it there.

yeah go for it. If you have access to all the stuff from the 95...motor, ecu, wiring.

You will need a FSM for both cars, a welder to make motor mounts if they are different and I am sure a lot more things. If you have the time and skill to do this...why not.

You'd have a better chance with a VG30DE. At least that engine can use the VE ECU and wire harness.
