Grounding the VTC's

hey, this question is mostly for craig but if you have grounded your vtc's im sure you can answer this pretty easily... anyways, i am wantin to ground my vtc's because my engine has started to "tick" but since im not an electrician of any sort, i need to know what type of wire i should get in order to do it
