My Max won't stay started
 

Hi Guys
I have just bought a 91 GXE max as is The car has not been used for 6 months the battry is flat I have replaced the battry and the engin cranks all the accesorys seem to work but the engine wont stay started it is almost like it is not geting enough gas I put 2 gal in the tank and it started 2 times for 1 or 2 seconds any Ideas?

bad fuel pump? maybe fill the tank all the way up. that usually increases fuel pressure when the fp is weak.

ok so it stays started for a bit the stalls or it starts then instantly stalls...either way check your feul pump and feul filter so that it isnt clogged. Make sure the injectors arent dirty and that everything has power that it is supposed to have. also check the o2 sensor and maf.
