Will the Bose double din fit in my max if I have the Bose cassette only player? Do I need any other parts(screws, brackets) to install it correctly?

yes it will fit. Take your radio out and take the compartment below the radio off. Get 2 more radio screws for the bottom of the DD (the compartment screws will not work)

Its as simple as that.

its the same as long as the DD is out of a pre 95 nissan.

I've had mine for two years and no problems at all, my factory BOSE speakers are fully functional. I have a website thanks to a member on the org. where they sell the harness that you have to make, tonight after work if I remember I will post the link up.

Thats from a 97-98 max correct? The 95-96 looks like the 3rd gen double din I think with the display to the upper right of the deck.

Yes its from a 97, I think the 95-96 doesn't look too good. I never use the tape deck and I don't even know if it works but I guess its good to have.
