So, the installation of my Addco RSB wasn't as smooth as planned
A word of advice to those in the Addco RSB deal who are planning to install them:
The hardware that comes with the kit sucks (if you get it at all ). The stock bar came off fairly quick after I soaked it with PB blaster. Then the headaches began. The bolts that connect the L brackets to the car were of the wrong thread (too course). It being a sunday, I had to go all the way to Home Depot (as all the mom n pop shops are closed today) to buy some replacement bolts with finer threads. I come back, install the L brackets, then go to put the new bar on. Well, it turns out that the U brackets for the Addco have bolt holes that were too small. I didn't have a drill bit big enough to enlarge them, so I had to walk the neighborhood and find one from a neighbor. Enlarged the holes, and installed the U brackets. Then, putting together the "stack" of bushings and washers was an exercise in frustration. As a slight aside, I think this design is absolutely terrible - it is too complicated and bulky. Anyway, the bolt that holds all this in place is just short enough so that you can't thread the nut on. I had to find a C-clamp big enough to smoosh the bushings together as to expose enough thread to get the nuts on. All in all, this 1 hour install took 4 hours including the trip to Home Depot. I haven't even driven the car since, as it is pouring out and I am miserable.
P.S. I used Energy Suspension bushing grease, and the stuff is great: sticky, greasy and designed especially for polyurethane bushings. $3 for a 1/2 oz tub, which is more than enough for a single install. Call Energy to find out where it is sold locally.

Ditto. Its funny but I had exactly the same problems except I believe the install day was a weekday. LOL Its funny but I spoke to Ed from Addco and at the time of my install he said many ppl were complain about the same things. You'd think they would correct the problem by now.
I used a lithium grease but the bushings continue to squeak. Let me know how the Energy Suspension bushing grease works for you, and the phone number. Oh and not to rain on ur parade be careful goin up and down elevated driveways because the sway links will break. I'm not completely satisfied with this mod. "Buyer Beware."
Good luck to you!

Mine went on with no problems.
Here is my install write up for those who still need to do the deed.

mizeree: can you give me specific bolt sizes so I can pick them up?
the two black bolts that bolt into the car don't thread in by hand, and i think i need to pick some new ones up.
i actaully called addco, and it his response was that the punch that punches out the holes is getting worn, which would explain why it's 1/16th too small. he sent me new brackets.

Since the install/lowering I've noticed metal banging, and its not broken sway links, that problems been addressed. It seems to happen when I roll over potholes. Living in NYC they're inevitable. I'm thinking its the addco banging against the chassis or fuel tank. Is anyone else experiencing this?
