hey I was curious, I am not sure which company, stillen or JWT make the intakes with a K&N filter, but I think I'm buying the one that does not use a K&N, but I want to switch the filter that comes with the intake with a K&N. the company said that if I do this, I'l acutally LOSE HP, instead of gaining 6HP, i hsould gain like..1 or 2..why is that?

Intakes

go for the CAI, with a Y, it will not dissapoint.

who makes CAI, and what's the difference between a CAI and just intake?

CAI

Place Racing Industries makes it, Cattman offers the best price.

A conventional "pop charger" mounts the filter in the engine compartment. The CAI exits the engine compartment under the battery box, with the filter in the fenderwell. Pulling colder air. The CAI has better performance, and with over $3G in tunes, I liked the fact that it was much quieter.

place racing makes the cai. the regular intake is just a cone that goes where the stock intake box rests. the cai goes in the fenderwell to suck in more cool air. more air = more hp.

Stillen:

What company? Give me their number so I can call them up and tell them they are idiots. If they can show me data that switching from a Stillen intake to a JWT intake results in a 6 hp decrease, I'll push my cars off a cliff.

hehe okay, so if I switch to a K&N, it'll be better than the JWT filter?
