I had the one that goes on the tip of the hood for about a week. I didn't like it because it would wrinkle and crap, even though it was tight as hell and almost impossible to get on.

I have a full bra for my max but usually only keep the hood cover on. It is off right now though

Maxima-4DSC Oct 15, 2003 02:23 PM

only thing i don t like is the fact that it bunches up at high speeds. i have to readjust it every few weeks. other than that i put it on when i bought it and it hasnt come off yet.

I have one, but on the highway, it rises up in the middle and almost blows off! PITA! It's a hood bra only, I'm looking for a better one that stays put even on the highway.

The hood bra is always a pain in da touche at high speeds, so here is what you do.

Lift ya hood, and make sure the two end clips are snugly in place. Tug the lower center piece of the bra (under the hood) tightly down close to the hood latch. Get a plastic tie (otherwise known as zippie or whatever name you know it by). Pierce the fabric close to the seam (so as to prevent the fabric from ripping). Loop the plastic tie through and pull the bra close to the hood latch. Zip the tie.

The bra should now fit snugly across the hood, and by being tied down at the center, prevents the center of the bra from raising at high speeds.

This also worked as a theft detterent for me one time. My car was parked at the airporrt and someone just grabbed the hood section and pulled it, the center piece was tied down

u could always get a magnetbra 4 the hood....it sticks 2 the hood and never moves :)....

Yuck! i hate the look of those things.. We usually get adhesive clear plastic sheets stuck to the front areas where stones can chip. When done properly, it looks great, cause you can't see it from a distance!

True that Scott! I really dont want one for my max.

I got a full bra on my car. Looks decent, but I have the same problem at high speeds with it raising up. Im gonna try using the tie-down thing.

I cut two small slits under the hood in the bra near the big holes under the hood and wire-tabed it to the hood and it helped keep the bra in place. It still pops up a bit at high speed but doesn't move. It is a pain to feed the tabs through but it works. Just don't forget to take it off and get a good coat of wax on the hood. And don't leave it on wet too long, bad for paint.

The guy I bought my 3rd gen from gave me a bra along with the car. But I have a Stillen front lip and the front looked retarded with it on there. So I ended up throwing the darn thing away.
