Chris91SE Dec 19, 2003 02:35 PM

Michael Dec 19, 2003 03:10 PM

it looked better before...LOL J/K

It looks great as always. I was glad I got to see the pearl in person at NOPI. It looks really good.

Gjohnson Dec 19, 2003 03:52 PM

Looking good Chris, keep up the good work.

Just waiting to see Mike's blue paint job now. (hint, hint)

D-sta Dec 19, 2003 04:12 PM

Yea Mike get that paint job done buddy. Looks good Chris I was thinking of doing the same thing to my car but by this summer I am planning to buy the car that comes with the Alpine White stock :) and keeping the max until it blows up as a second car which I think will be a long time.

Michael Dec 19, 2003 08:04 PM

Gjohnson & D-sta I am starting to think my car will never be painted :(. I am almost finished getting my hood nice and slick though...one more session of block sanding should do it. Then I am Moving on to the fenders, doors, quarters and the the roof. The good news is that the rest of the body is pretty straight and shouldnt take me as long to get slick. It took a while with the hood because of all the little dings from people shutting this hood by pressing down on it. The problem I have is that I hate cold weather and I havent got a heated shop to work on the car in.

anyway back to Chris' car since this is his thread. The car really looks great and I kinda wish I had kept mine white. I love how the white maximas look with the Stillen kit...I especially like the blue pearl added.

James92SE Dec 19, 2003 08:16 PM

I can't even tell a difference :wall:

Brad92SE Dec 19, 2003 10:19 PM

Wow, that paint looks really hot! I love paint jobs with a different color pearl.

Bman Dec 19, 2003 11:30 PM

I'm not a huge fan of pearl paints in general, but your car certainly looks better now than it did before.

Not that there was anything wrong with it though. :D

bah!...you can thread hijack all you want. your car is going to be sick no matter what. i have flaws in the body that some can see and some only i notice... i'd love to go through what you're going through to make it all perfect...

Gjohnson Dec 20, 2003 10:43 AM

You and me both Chris. Yeah, Mike's car will look better than new.

pezking4 Dec 20, 2003 10:44 AM

You give me a little too much credit LOL. I am trying my hardest but who knows how good it will actually turn out...I am hoping for the best but who knows. I know that I have learned a lot and feel I am ready to start of the Chevelle as soon as this car is finished...that is unless the Maxima doesnt turn out as good as I think and discourages me.
