GXE's with spoilers

I may be getting a spoiler soon and I have a few Q's:

-Did you get the stock spoiler with the light and not connect the brake light?

or...

-Did you get a similar shaped spoiler to stock with no light, and if so which one?

any feedback is appreciated!!

Thanks,
Mr. T

Well, I'd prefer you kept your GXE spoiler-free, but if you are going to get one, make it one with the light in the spoiler.

where do you guys think the best place is to get a factory style spoiler. i don't really want to go to the junk yard because i'll get one of those foam ones. spoilerfactory.com sells them painted for a little over $200. is this a good price or should i keep looking?

This place AutoEarth has non-stock-like spoilers for the maxima's. THe spoilers look stock but they aren't. The one down side is that they aren't painted but they did say why they don't paint. But for $98 +shipping who can argue. I am getting one of these spoilers in two more weeks (I am purchasing some new OEM front struts until the summer)

Im guessing you have a good reason to want and trade your SE trunk lid for one from a GXE. I think the spoiler gives the car some character, Maxima's look like grandma cars without them.

personally, I hate the way 99% of 3rd gens look with a spoiler..if I were to ever buy an SE, I wouldn't take it to a shop or carefully take the spoiler off..it would be off in 5 min with a crowbar and a hand sledge..unless for some reason I had no bondo and primer..

stock 3rd gen spoliers suck so bad....99% of the ones I see are coming up off the ends, rusting in the middle, and cracking b/c of that cheap foam and plastic ****. Bad design IMO. Mine fell off while i was driving down the road and hangin on by the light wires :-D P.O.S

Leave your GXE spoiler free. They look much better without it. I was considering getting one but I'm just gonna repaint my car emerald green and keep it spoiler free. They look so damn sporty and sexy without it.!!!

i agree with the 2 ppl that said they look stupid with them....when you look at the car from a side view the lines of the windows and trunk are all curved then you see a squaed off spoiler on the trunk....then i took it off and the lines follow so much more cleanly...i personally think it looks best without one....and instead of paying someone to fix the holes in the trunk i could just trade my spolier and trunk for someone with a GXE trunk with no holes
