personally i kinda like it, so it stays - however im annoyed now i diddnt black the tires out b4 i took the pic all well so ill pick up some clear coat rewrap the car again and spray a few coats on then rebuff the crap outta it.

thanks i like it better myself - well im going outside to prep the car and start clearcoating (yes at 11pm) im bored and its still really nice outside (and my kids asleep) LOL....if the clearcoat and polish dosent blend it im gnona have my body shop buddy look at it and see if he can just respray the fenders and hood. and if its not much more i may have him just do the whole stinkin car, but i think a few coats of clear should do the job !

maaco blows goats, my buddy got a maaco job and it lasted LITERALLY one year, after that it was chipping and rusting thru. i appreciate the advice but and paint job under 1500 or so id be leary of. it takes TIME to do it right and the right quality paint therefore the high price.

Personally, I would rather have that matte looking front end than the bra, so I think it looks really good.
I tried to tell that to my dad once before. He had a crappy 91 Escort (bought cheap for a work car) that he put a bra on because it had a dent in the bumper. The car starting getting really hot, sometimes overheating in the summer. He flushed the coolant, then put in a new thermostat, a new radiator cap, then a new water pump...come to find out the bra was restricting the airflow to the tiny little front access to the radiator. The crappy electric fans couldn't keep up and the thing would overheat. Moral of the story: bras suck. Take them off your girlfriend and take them off your car

Nick, If you dont mind, could you let me know what works best with matching your hood. I convinced a friend earlier to just fix his hood himself, and I have a spare black fender to practice on (not only matching paints and spraying, but also to dent and fix).

ill tell you guys know what works best the clearcoat i got diddnt work that great so im going to get advice from my buddy at the body shop. he said to start from scratch and it will come out better. he said get airplane stripper strip the paint to the metal, sand it good, 2 primer coats, 3 or so black coats and overlap the last coat a bit to help the blending process. then after that dries apply 2-3 coats of clearcoat again overlapping as before. after those dry use polishing compound, then a good wax (one coat each) also use electric buffer for wax and compound. he said that before i do the polishing compund that if it dosent look quite the way i want it to use rubbing compund with a good buffer and continue to attempt the blending process then the polish and wax. after that he said it shouldnt be that noticable. also if i screw it up he said to bring it in and ill do it with professional stuff. LOL

just from your pics you're definitely doing it wrong.
you shouldn't use a rattle can paint if you're expecting decent results. rattle can may give u a "spot" fix...IE something that's small. but it'll never give u decent results with 1/2 the hood.
don't even bother trying..it's just going to be waste of $.
what your friend said at the shop is correct...but to save u some $..if the rest of the paint on the hood is good you might get away with just shooting the color on 1/2 the hood.
learn blending techniques and try it out.
also you can't buff out rattle can paint w/o going through it FAST.
