Matt's Mod of the Week
Okay, I'm a ricer now... I have aftermarket pedals..
least they're real. :) http://mattblehm.com/pics/car/pedals/IM001142.JPG These are some new parts I'm prototyping for AutoVation Technologies More pics here: http://mattblehm.com/pics/car/pedals/ |
:D Nice clean carpet :D
|
sweet. I want some...
|
very nice Matt. Do they make them for an auto :wall:
Like Craig said on the other board I like that last shot. |
I like the last shot too.
add to list: -Copy Matt :p (i like the aluminum and the seats, not a big fan of the shift knob but bah!) btw, next weeks project should include making a new radio mount and installing the gauges :D |
Looks nice. But you should make them thicker like the AE peadals.
|
this is one thing Matt didn't make lol.
|
You guys don't like my JDM 300ZX shifter?
Mike, the first set they sent me was for an auto.. I mailed them back yesterday morning. shoot them an email and see if they'll send them to you. :) |
man i love your whole dash set up looks real clean with the aluminum how can i get a hold of these pedals and soem nice aluminum trim?
|
pedals are linked at the top..
some of the dash kit is from Joshua tree... (it's their "real metal" kit). www.woodtrim.com the gauge bezel and shifter piece were both custom made by me. |
that shifter is tight! your interior is nice and clean
pedals match everything perfectly |
nice gauge pod :wall:
|
Nice seats, forgive me if you didn't talk about them in a previous post, but what are they?
|
Looks very nice.
I cant wait until my debts are paid off this year, time to take the Max to the next level. |
They're Corbeau Carerra/CR-1 seats. very supportive and very comfy. :)

BTW, what kind of shifter do you have? 300ZX shifter but an Anniversary Edition would match the rest of his interior better and looks nicer anyway :) |

Brad, it's a J-Spec 300ZX shift knob. factory shifter that's been modded to shorten the throws. (and it's NOT the hacksaw type of mod) |

Didn't know I had red seatbelts?
http://mattblehm.com/pics/car/seats/IM001148.JPG That help, Craigy? :) |
Never thought I would see the day. :chebosto:
:spin: |
I only bought them to help heel-toe better.. and they work. I can actually do it in this car now! :D
|
I knew I was in trouble when I was in the passenger seat, and I look over to see Matt strapping himself into the seat just to take me for a ride
|
And when I hit the first corner, you immediately knew why I had those harnesses. :)

That help, Craigy? :) :) j/k good stuff. I'd seen a couple pics of the seats before but I dont recall seeing ones with the seatbelts. I guess I need to browse through your different directories more. I usually spend most of my time browsing through shadysport trying to find more pics of that car. |
you have tastefully altered the interior of your car, matt. good choices all-around. esp. the shifter. and seats.
your car must be extremely fast at this point. you got the VE and she is boosted, right? with VLSD. whole nine yards. |
Will they be making them in any other colors? I think black would look good In my car...
|
go to their website and see what they've got. black isn't an option. they're machined or bead blasted aluminum.
you could always paint them black, but it'd wear off pretty quick due to all the wear from your shoes. Chad, I'm not boosted..... yet. :wall: Craig, I actually never had pics of the belts posted online anywhere.. I took them several times, but somehow they never wound up on my webpage.. they'er floating around on my HDD in three places now. :\ Brad, they attach to the bolts for the rear belts between the top and bottom portion of the back seat. it's a little difficult to get someone back there, but I don't really care since I might need the back seat once a month. usually it's just cargo space.. If I know I'm going to be hauling people around, it's 5 minutes with a 14mm socket and extension to remove them and bolt the factory ones down. |
Very nice matt. Did you have any problems taking off the accelerator pedal? I put some momo pedals on and the accelrator pedal was a pain to take off.
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i.../444291_22.jpg |
Nope.. this one you actually drilled small holes in the factory pedal and screwed this one onto it. the rest of them, you remove the covers and drill holes in the backing plate..
