Just finished my installation from 40 down to 20 degree temp in 1.5-2 hrs. 2/3 of the time went into going to auto shop and buy a 27mm socket I thought I had. Then again to get a pulley puller, mine was super glued to the engine.

Went for a drive afterwards and was awesome. Just as good or better than the Y-pipe replacement. Definitely revved faster and the car is quicker, you can definitely feel it. Shifting was smoother as well. If you have the asp pulley install it.

Well I replaced the seal with the new Nissan one. Some notes. My old seal we pretty new. As in new when I did the 1st asp install. After I put the oem pulley back in, it still didn't leak. But when I put the asp pulley in again, it leaked. I can only guess that the oem pulley is just ever so slightly bigger in diameter. (where it rides on the seal). So when you put the asp unit on, it will leak. When I compared the old / new seal, you could tell the old one was noticably looser when you slid it onto asp pulley. Live and learn.

Moral of the story, change the seal everytime you have the change the pulley from the OEM to asp. It's only about $5 anyway.

I just found my correct VE seal from Napa but lost my VG seal (I was going to go buy some crap and was going to return it).

I'll probably put it on in a few days, I was going to yesterday but ran out of time and had to leave for work
