OEM antenna

anyone here using an OEM antenna that is hooked up by glueing itself on the rear window on the outside with another adapter glueing itself along the outside antenna from the inside. the window lied between the two pieces. then there is a wire that you run to the receiver. i saw these antenna at wal-mart for the like 20. i just want to know if any of you guys are using these and do work pretty well???
